Consider this phone - the base unit and the additional units if you want a good home phone. I really liked this phone for many reasons - good clarity - long battery life - sturdy design and ease of use. The features are better than many other phones I have had including sending the phonebook from one phone to another.
The unit works as advertised and the price was right. We had a few missteps with the delivery of the correct unit. The customr support was very good in resolving the problem (the wrong unit being delivered).

I am happy with it. The phone is great, but the instructions for Registering it with the base could be better.I had to call Panasonic for instructions. Than it was easy to register it.
I would recommend anyone who has the 2 set to expand to the 3 set. It just rounded out my complete set. I also was very satisfied with the way my purchase was handled and the speed of receiving my purchase. I purchased this product to increase my Cordless set to 3 which is what I needed and it works and performs great. I am so glad that I purchased this product.
